Crystal Skulls
Many people have been fascinated by the various crystal skulls that have been found in Mexico, Central and South America. They've been associated with Aztec and Mayan civilizations and are believed to be between 5,000 to 35,000 years old. They have been found near ancient pyramids in the Americas that were built by these cultures. Over the years they have traversed many hands, usually being given to individuals by priests or shamans. The scientific testing by HP Laboratories found nothing scientifically pertinent, other than the inexplicable way they were made; unknown methods of carving and polishing apparently against the 'axis' of the crystal (whatever that means). These crystal skulls are said to have interesting qualities that affect many of the humans that come into contact with them. The 'sensitivities' range from tingling to full blown visions and sometimes out-of-body experiences. They are an enigma at best.
My personal contact with several of these skulls began in the late 80s when I met Anna Mitchell-Hedges at an event in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was a very kind and warm woman with a bright smile and eyes to match. She seemed to instinctively know who to let 'touch' the skull to sense its energy or presence. I noticed she did not let everyone touch it and oftentimes folks just stood and gazed at it without wanting to touch it. I couldn't resist and she seemed to pick up on the natural affinity I had for it right away. I placed my hands gently around the skull and closed my eyes for just a moment. I'm not sure how to describe what happened, only that I suddenly felt like my consciousness encompassed a vast amount of space in an instant and then I returned and opened my eyes. Anna just smiled knowingly as she nodded her head. I gently held her hand in thankfulness as I kissed the back of it, letting go and bowing in humbleness to her.
The 'event' also included a talk by Dr. Brian O'Leary, an astronaut and scientist, who was sharing his insights on terrestrial and extraterrestrial intelligence in regard to exploring inner and outer space. He opened his talk with a guided meditation, which was normal for these kinds of things. I rather enjoyed them because I could free my mind to experience the moment more deeply. A few minutes into the meditation I experienced a bright flash of light, like a mega-watt flashbulb, that originated several feet above Brian as he stood in the center of the room. I'm guessing it was about 12 to 15 feet off the floor. It was just an instant, but my mind processed a cursory 'input' that revealed this 'light pulse' contained data that would take years to download and display in my world. Again, I have a challenge to explain the sensations in words because they happened in an instant by comparison. After the meditation was over I asked the people sitting around me, none of which I knew, if they had experienced something similar. One other had, so I could only surmise that there were others in the room of 150 plus that did as well.
Communication in consciousness is a strange science and often illusory-filled with attempts at explanations for specific happenings. I personally believe we don't have not incorporated the intelligence necessary to fully understand these messages yet, but the fact that we have them is significant in the process of anthropic evolution, our human progression as psycho-spiritual beings engaging a bio-engineered vehicle we seem to think is the end all of our physical existence. Metaphysicians and mystics agree that we are more than just our body, our mind and our spirit but to know the extent of the consciousness we embrace as soular beings seems to part of the process of understanding cosmic consciousness and self-actualization. Somehow these skulls have encoded information within their structure, whether physical or wavelengths of energy is of constant question, and 'release' it to individuals with particularly resonant fields. It only makes sense when you think of harmonic resonance in stringed instruments. One plucked string can set many to vibrating.
Over the next couple of decades I attended and presented at various metaphysical, new age and alien agenda conferences in Arizona and especially in the Phoenix area. I interviewed some of the conference participants and presenters on my television who in the early 90s. I tended to ask the deeper questions of understanding and working with this kind of consciousness instead of just being a proponent of the seeming 'out of touch with reality' or 'woo-woo' attitude or perception that many, both inside and outside the phenomena, seemed to have in those days. I went through a period of that myself, but I've always felt that we, as humans, have to be able to put any understanding we garner to some practical use in our daily lives, bridging science and spirituality, or its unquestionably useless for us to even consider. Well, I have to admit that I ponder a lot of things that I still don't understand, but much of it I've been able to integrate.
A few years after the turn of the century I was asked to give a presentation at an event in Scottsdale. I had presented my act at another conference in Sedona the year before and had a great review so I was asked back for another presentation. I only had half the time, though, so it wasn't as fun. At any rate there was a man from China, Frank Loo, who brought 13 small skulls that had been found on the north side of the Himalayas along with several stone discs that had massive amounts of carved characters embedded in them. He told of their origination area and the story of a people known as Dropa that crash-landed a spaceship there thousands of years ago. Many survived, but they were a very small race of humanoids, much like the hobbits of Tolkein. Legends and stories abound in the area, but the Chinese government, like our own, kept things as quiet as possible and did not share in the interests of 'spreading the word' of the locals.
After his lecture, Frank spread the skulls in a circle of 12 with the 13th meant for the individual who laid in the middle of the circle to hold. He had done this at every lecture with a variety of results, but when people did experience something it was usually quite profound. I watched as several others took their turn in the circle, with not much to report afterward. Now, I've been an explorer in realms of consciousness for many years by this time, but I was not prepared for what happened. I laid down in the center of the skulls, only I brought one of the stone discs with me too. The disc was about 8-10 inches in diameter and two inches thick or so and a two inch square hole at the center, tapering off to about a half inch at the edge. I put it on my solar plexus and put the skull on my heart and closed my eyes. Almost immediately I saw this beautiful array of rainbow-sparkled light tubes that connected opposite-side skulls and formed a grid above me. I had seen this grid before on several occasions during very impactful cosmic connectivities.
As soon as the grid was complete I lost consciousness. Several minutes later (about 5 according to the folks there) I felt myself come back to an awake state, although a bit woozy, with no conscious memory of what had happened or where I had been. I'm normally able to be hyper-conscious of sensations and sounds in the room during any journeys in the past, but after returning I felt like I was taken 'home' for a short visit with no explanation as to why. This wasn't the first time I'd had this kind of experience, although the skulls seemed to ramp it up to entirely new levels of out-of-body travel. I had memories of most of my journeys in the past. My experience is that at some point in time when everything has processed completely, or nearly so, then consciousness coalesces into manageable thoughts and sequences of imagery or even a stream of consciousness that evolves through being triggered in conversation. I still don't know how to fully explain the operations of the worlds I know interacting with one another, but I'm working on it.
